Sidney Robert Buras
(October 26, 1947 – July 7, 2020)

On July 7, 2020, Bobby Buras of the Moss community passed.  A native of Plaquemines Parrish, Louisiana, Sidney Robert Buras, Jr., raised his family in Moss with Barbara Buras and their children Aaron Buras, Matthew Buras, and Veronica Buras Williams (Brian Williams).

In his youth and young adulthood, he was tugboat captain and traveled the world.  He loved the outdoors and helping neighbors and friends with small repair or just a friendly conversation.  He was always eager to help the fellow farmers with equipment repairs as well.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8 ^th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi 39111.  In lieu of flowers please donate to Celebrate Recovery, The Pointe Church, C/O giving, P.O.
