Bruce Todd, 58 of Mount Olive, Mississippi passed from this life on Friday, April 10, 2015, at his home in Mount Olive, Mississippi.

Born Wednesday, February 20, 1957 in Newton, Mississippi, he was the son of Donnie Wall Todd of Hero, and the late Frank Todd.

He was a member of Rock Hill Baptist Church and was a Gideon.

Bruce graduated from Collins High School in 1975 where he played football. He also played for Hinds Community College. He graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing Management. He worked as a salesman, first in office equipment, then went to food sales until he retired in 2011 due to his health. During his career Bruce received multiple awards for top sales with each company for which he worked. He even served as a mentor and consultant after retiring. People would call him seeking his advise on products, sales, and support.
Bruce had a big heart. He was always trying to help others. He made his profession of faith while at Salem Baptist Church in his younger years. After getting married and moving to Hattiesburg, he served in many capacities at Immanuel Baptist Church where he was member for 27 years before moving to Rock Hill Baptist Church in 2012. He helped establish a kitchen in Honduras for a pastor's retreat compound.
Bruce enjoyed scuba diving, hunting, and motorcycle riding. He was also a great cook. Bruce loved to camp and dreamed of one day traveling the US in a motorhome. He is definitely traveling those heavenly highways in his "motorhome mansion" now.

He was preceded in death by son, Jared Todd and Daughter, Celeste Todd and Sister, Sherry Todd

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mount Olive located at 205 South 4th Street Mount Olive, Mississippi . Interment will be in Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Olive, MS.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:30 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015, and Sunday April 12th Noon till service time at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mount Olive.

Serving as Pallbearers are Wayne McAlister, Rob McLeod, Buddy Wade, Bobby Harper, Kelly Ray and Jimmy Bennett. Honorary Pallbearers are Craig Miller and Gary Fowler
