Henry W. Carr's Obituary
Henry Wade Carr, 81 of Brandon, died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home Magee on Monday, March 12, 2012.
Henry was a long-time member of Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church. He worked for AT&T for 42 years. Mr. Carr enjoyed watching sports, hunting, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Irene N. Carr; step-sons, Edward Davis and Roy Dean Carr; sister, Christine Camp and nieces and nephews, David Carr, Terry Carr, Debby Carr Meeks, Steve Carr, Brenda Carr Gooch, Linda Carr Fisher, Robert Camp, Russell Camp and Shelia Camp Tankersley.
Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Lillie Carr and brothers.
Pallbearers are members of Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church or any church of choice.
