Gwyn D. Powell's Obituary
Gwyn Donna Powell, 56 of Pinola, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Hardy Wilson Hopsital in Hazelhurst.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Gwyn worked as a business administrator for some 20 years and spent many years as a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed reading and brain teasers.
Gwyn is preceded in death by her father, Ray Donald and one brother, Pat Donald.
She is survived by husband of 27 years, Baxter Louis Powell Sr of Pinola; mother, Lucille Gainey Rickels of Mendenhall; daughters, Patricia Dawson (Josh) of Byram and Jennifer Wilson (Steve) of Byram; son, Louis Powell Jr (Judy) of Byram; grandchildren, Cody Powell, Tyler Harless, Angel Powell, Connor Dawson and baby Rowan Dawson and sisters, Gayle Warren (Ricky) of Brandon and Lisa Pace (Mitch) of Florence.
Final arrangements are entrusted to the care of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.
