Willie Joy Rachel, 95 of Carthage, Mississippi passed away Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Trend Health &Rehab of Carthage.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11:00 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi .  Bro. T.J. Mrs. Rachel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved and trusted her Lord.

Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Eure (Buddy); granddaughter, Rachel Michelle Hisaw (Neal); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Wayne C. Rachel, parents, Harvey and Lula Amason; sisters, Wonza McAplin, Lois Kennedy, Christine Blackwell, Bonny Faye McAlpin, and Jean Netherland; brothers, Howard Amason, JD Amason, Jearl Amason, and Donald Ray Amason.

Pallbearers will be Mike Kennedy, John Amason, Steve Blackwell, Randal Amason, Stacy Amason, and Jeffery Netherland.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Rachel, Ronnie Rawson, Ricky Rawson, and Neal Hisaw.
