William Ty Yates, 57 of Harrisville, MS went from his earthly to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 5, 2025. He was born Tuesday, May 23, 1967 in Mendenhall, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:30pm at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall, 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, MS. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 11:00am at Harrisville Cemetery in Harrisville, MS. Bro. David Ware of Harrisville Community Church will officiate. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Yates; and mother, Sylvia Berry Yates.

Survivors include his daughters, Sylvia Yates (Marquez Riley) and Nicole Yates; grandchildren, Lillianna, Raniah, and Cohen; and sister, Pam Yates.
