Wanda Kathryn Ward Williams, 80 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away on April 29, 2026, at Bedford Care Center in Mendenhall. She was born on November 2,1945 in Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Williams attended Forest Hill High School and worked in Jackson, MS, for many years. Wanda Left an incredible mark on her family, friends, neighbors, and community as a person who reached out to others. Her passion was taking care of her dogs and rescuing others. She also grew up in the Central Presbyterian Church in Jackson. She will be missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401.

Survivors include sister, Mary Carol Brewer; five nephews, Alex Brewer, Andrew Brewer, Crisler Brewer, Victor Ward, and Eric Ward; four cousins, Margaret Vinson, Ed Brown (Glenda), Anne Veard, and Dr. John Gaudet

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Williams; daughter, Charlotte Ann Williams; parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Ward, Jr.; brother, Fred A Ward III.
