Terri is preceded in death by her son, William Stevenson Loftin, and her father, William "Billy" Price.
Terri is a graduate of Mendenhall High School and Mississippi State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She also attended Co-Lin where she met her husband, Randy. Terri always had a heart for children and knew she would dedicate her life and career to them. She specifically focused on teaching kindergarten. For 25 years, she was a beloved teacher and friend to many, and also served as color guard instructor in Randy's bands. After spending a few years in Ackerman and Winona, the Loftin's spent the majority of their careers in Wesson. Terri was that teacher who treated everyone's children like her own. She treated friends and co-workers like family, and has remained close with the friends she has made over the years.
Upon retirement, she spent her time with her daughter, Lindsey, and her precious granddaughters, Kennedy and Mary Adley. She helped with field trips, birthday parties, homework and dance practices. She literally never missed a game, recital, birthday, Sunday dinner, tailgate or any activity. She was a familiar face around Simpson Academy supporting and helping her granddaughters and all the children there. She also enjoyed working at Mendenhall Mercantile, and she loved helping others. Her family and friends were most important to her, but she never met a stranger and truly loved all people.
Terri loved First Baptist Mendenhall and was an active member. She loved the Lord, and never stopped teaching everyone Christ's example to love one another unconditionally. She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Survivors include her loving husband, Randy Loftin of Magee; one daughter, Lindsey Loftin Hitchcock and husband, Blake of Magee; her granddaughters, Kennedy Leigh Hitchcock and Mary Adley Hitchcock of Magee and twins, Anna Katherine and Stetson Blake Hitchcock expected in March of 2023; her mother, Mary Alice Price of Mendenhall; her sister, Tracy Price Paes and husband, Greg of Mendenhall; her sister, Toni Price Broadhead and husband, Andy of Mendenhall; her mother-in law, Nancy Loftin of Magee; her sister-in-law Jacquelyn Loftin Odom and husband, Bill of Laurel; her nieces Janna Paes and Cambre Paes both of Starkville; her niece, Mary Frances Broadhead Priest and husband Jaron of Jackson; nephew, Nicholas Broadhead of Jackson; nephew, Price Broadhead of Mendenhall and great-niece, Margaret Ann Priest of Jackson.
