Tennie Frances Jones Bishop, 104, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away with her son and daughter-in-law by her side. She was born Thursday, April 5, 1917.

Private Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Magee City Cemetery.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Bishop loved working with her cattle and working in her yard. When she was 90 years old, she was still cutting her own grass. She attended First Baptist Church of Magee and also Immaculate Conception of Laurel. Mrs. Bishop Mansion on a hilltop is now finished by her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bishop; parents; seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her two sons; two granddaughters; one grandson; two great- great grandchildren; three great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
