Tania Anne Hodge
(May 9, 1972 – September 21, 2022)

Tania Anne Hodge, age 50 of Bay Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the Jasper General Nursing Home with her mother and step-father by her bedside.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Bro. Rusty Stockman will officiate.  Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Taylorsville.

Tania was a sweet, special child who had a smile for everyone she met. She loved to go shopping and enjoyed "styling" as she called it. Drawing, enjoying music, watching scary movies were favorite past times. It was known among her family and friends that she could out perform any one in the dancing arena. She had a caring countenance and she loved everyone she met. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Wayne Hodge; father, Sammy Wayne Hodge.

Survivors include her mother, Mary L. Matthews Chisholm, and her step-father Frankie; step-brothers, Mark Chisholm (Maria) and Chris Chisholm; aunts, Betty Pipkins (Don) and Robin Mills (Clay); uncle, Charles Matthews (Maria) and a host of cousins.

Pallbearers will be Chris Chisholm, Josh Chisholm, Clay Mills, Kolten James, Kevin Norris, and Craig Deakle.

The family wishes to acknowledge with grateful appreciation Tania caretakers, whom she dearly loved during her time at Jasper General Nursing Home.

Special music will be performed by Mrs. Wendy Stockman.
