Ruby Schillinger, 89 of Taylorsville, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Mississippi. She was born Thursday, February 1, 1934 in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 1:00pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Raleigh, Mississippi. Bro. Rich Ables will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

Mrs. Ruby had a love for all things gardening, and could talk to you all day about her flowers. She was a sweet, kind soul. She was a loving mother, and cared deeply for her kids, and grandbabies. She will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Robert Carl Schillinger; sons, James Daniel Clark, Ronnie Clark; daughter, Dianne Clark Poach; father, Hughey D Henderson; mother, Myrtle Phillips Henderson; sister, Mary Henderson McCool.

Survivors include her sons, Joey Clark and Phil Clark (Starla); daughter, Gail Clark Walters (Adrian); brother, Elvin Henderson (Mary); sister, Betty Henderson Thornton (Joe); and twenty-one grandchildren.
