Rose Marie Blackedge Stewart, 70 of Magee, MS passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. She was born Friday, December 21, 1951 in Wayne County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 07, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Mrs. Stewart was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Earl Tuggle, Sr.; parents, William Riley Blackedge and Dovie Lee Blackedge; son, Christopher David Tuggle; brothers, George Phillip Blackedge and Paul Blackledge.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Stewart; son, David Earl Tuggle, Jr.; daughters, Lisa Cook and April Brasseal; ten grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; sister, Louise Blackedge; brother; Riley Lee Blackedge.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Craft, Daniel Mendez, Joshua Mendez, Noah Mendez, Robert Brasseal, and Caleb Hudson.
