Richard McCraw, 84 of Harrisville, MS passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the Simpson General Hospital in Mendenhall, MS. He was born Friday, May 31, 1940 in Jackson, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Harrisville Community Church in Harrisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Harrisville Community Church in Harrisville, Mississippi. Burial will follow in Harrisville Cemetery in Harrisville, Mississippi. Bro. David Ware will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401

Mr. McCraw was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved Nascar, especially Talladega , and horseback riding. He cherished his dog, Dinky, and all of his pets.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carroll Sue McCraw; son, William (Billy) Gordon McCraw;  parents, RG McCraw and Mary Agnes McDonald McCraw.

Survivors include his son, Richard (Ricky) McCraw, Jr. (Frelisha) of Pearl, MS; daughter, Kathy  LeBlanc of Harrisville, MS;  grandchildren, Chris LeBlanc, Allison Spell (Scott), Marie McCraw, Brandy McCraw (Justin), Jamie McCraw, Richard McCraw III and Antoinette Path; twenty-two  great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; brother, Donnie McCraw; sister, Karen  McCraw; an a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Dillion LeBlanc, Scott Spell, Chris Strickland, Roy Jennings, and Jim Pearson
