Richard Troy Kight, 71 of Collins, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Arrington Living Center in Collins, Mississippi. He was born on Sunday, October 21, 1951, in Yazoo City, Mississippi.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Magee City Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. The burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Pastor Havard McDonald will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, Etriot Troy Kight; mother, Dorothy Parker Kight; and sister, Shelia Scott.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Marie McGraw Kight; and a host of other family members and friends.
