Raymond Thomas "RT" Bishop, Jr., 50 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from his earthly home to his heavenly home on Monday, May 22, 2023, in Magee, Mississippi due to motorcycle accident. He was born on Wednesday, July 19, 1972, in Collins, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

RT was a loving spouse, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, spending time in the outdoors, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Thomas Bishop; brother, Alan Justin Engerran; grandparents, RT and Audell Bishop and Doyle and Nell Ingram.

Survivors include his spouse, Carolyn Corley Bishop of Magee, MS; two daughters, Alyssa Casey Bishop (Billy Nichols) of Magee, MS and Alexis Brianna Bishop (Andrew Eavenson) of Magee, MS; mother, Kay Ingram Chiasson (Al) of Thibodaux, LA; two grandchildren, Coda Rain Bishop of Magee, MS and Corley Arlyn Bishop of Magee, MS; one brother, Bo Thames of Bogue Chitto, MS; three sisters, Misty Lee Naquin (William) of Thibodaux, LA, Christy Jo Torres (Ted) of Houma, LA and Katherine Margaret Engerran (Matt) of Houma, LA; father-in-law, Larry Corley; and a host of other family members and friends.
