Preston Salley, 88, passed away October 18, 2026, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Magee.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Raleigh. Bro. Stevie Hand will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601)849-5031.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mellie Salley; parents, Clyde Salley and Annie Mae Salley.

Survivors include his four children; two stepchildren; one brother; one sister; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
