Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2022, at White Oak Baptist Church in Magee for Nelner Sue Robertson, 84, of Raleigh, who passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022, at her home. Bro. Danny Adams, Bro. Rick Tillotson, and Bro. Tim Robertson will officiate. Interment will be at White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee. Elaine Yates and Renee Covington will provide special music. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
Nelner Robertson was a lifelong resident of White Oak, MS. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church where she was the organist for over 50 years and served in many different areas of the church.
Nelner was very involved in her local community including serving as a 4-H leader and a poll worker.
With her husband, Roy, she was an essential partner for their farming operation including growing green house tomatoes which people came from miles to enjoy.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Roy Robertson; Father, James Vardaman Dukes; Mother, Jewel Arender Dukes; and Step-Mother, Myrtle Dukes.
She is survived by her two Sons, Stanley Robertson (Kim) and Gregory Robertson (Anita); two Daughters, Regina Holt (Tim) and Karon Dick (Christopher); eleven Grandchildren, Cassie Holder (Elliot), Suzanne Vickers (Brandon), Candice Shoemaker (J.J.), Katherine Robertson, Stephen Robertson (Maridee), Adrian Jenkins (Ty), Olivia Dick, Kerri Holt, Carolyn Robertson, Jamie Robertson, David Lawson Dick; Brother, W.A. Dukes (Mary Ann); Sister, Cleta Overby (Jim); and six Great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Ladies Sunday School Class of White Oak Baptist Church.
