Nell Jean White
(September 10, 1929 – February 9, 2022)

Nell Jean White, a life-long resident of Magee passed away to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born on September 10, 1929 to Harvey and Kate West of Mize.

Nell Jean was a faithful servant of the Lord and active member of Corinth Baptist Church.  She loved helping with VBS and teaching Sunday school.  She loved her family and prayed faithfully for each of them.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Clyde White, her parents Harvey and Kate West, her brothers and sisters Ethel Turnage, Lee M West, N C West, Woodrow West, and Kathleen West, and her granddaughter Addey Kate White.

Nell is survived by her children Kenny (Kathy) White, Wanda (Ronald) Britt, and Tim (Brenda) White all of Magee.  Grandchildren Kory (Leah) White, Kevin (Kalea) White, Amanda (Justin) Maggio, Justin (Monica) Britt, Hillary (Scott) Copeland, Taylor (Shane) Brown, Chloe (Auston) White, Taylor (Courtney) Duran, and Eli (Hanna) Duran.  Great Grandchildren Andrea and Audrey White, Roman and Harper Maggio, Kendall and Olivia Britt, Sutton and Hayden Copeland, Lucy and Logan Duran, Penelope and Fount Duran and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Corinth Baptist Church at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. with burial in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Officiates for the service will be Bro. Jay Wesbrooks, Bro. Adam Wyatt, and Mike Hankins.  Leon May will be an honorary clergyman.

Pallbearers are Kory White, Kevin White, Justin Britt, Scott Copeland, Justin Maggio, Shane Brown, Auston Pitts, Eli Duran, and Taylor Duran.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee.
