Myrtle Hodum, 92 of Magee, MS passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born Saturday, January 11, 1930 in Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee, Mississippi. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery in White Oak.  Bro. Jimmy Arender will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Cecil Mullens and Jessie Mullens; husband, Grady  Hodum;  son, Kenneth  Hodum;  brother, Howard (Butch)  Mullens;  sister, Syble  Ware.

Survivors include her  two sons, John  Hollis Hodum (Ellen) of White Oak , MS and Cecil  Hodum of White Oak , MS;  four daughters, Ann  Anisworth  of Taylorsville, MS, Linda  Bryant (Travis ) of Magee, MS, Becky  Gregory (Dennis ) of White Oak , MS and Karen  Tullos  (David ) of Gluckstadt , MS;  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and host of other family members.
