Obituary

Minnie Mae Craft, 89, of D' Lo, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at her home in D' Lo, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, April 23, 1932.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at the Puckett United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Puckett United Methodist Church. The Burial will follow in Puckett Cemetery. Rev. Matthew Pharis will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401

Minnie Mae Craft was first a devout Christian. She was loved by all fortunate to meet her. She always loving, caring, giving, and forgiving. She was blessed with a big family and church family that loved her and she loved greatly. She was without question the family matriarch. Her passion was her family and church. She loved her work in her earlier life and won many company awards.

She loved old time gospel music. Her hobbies were vegetables and flower gardening, crocheting, and quilting. She was well known locally peddeling her quilts at Cato Rd and Hwy 49 intersection. Those that have her quilts cherish them.

She also loved a good yard sale. She was a resident of D'Lo for 60 years. She was a member of Puckett United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Craft; parents, John and Ester Mozingo; children, James Lloyd "Bubbie" Craft,  Billy Floyd Craft, Lillian Lucille Jennings,; grandson, Bobby Runnels; granddaughter, Paula Kay Peacock; great-grandchild, Mitchell Peacock; brothers, James Mozingo, Bill Mozingo, Frank Mozingo, and Mutt Mozingo; sister, Lillie Mae Skelton.

Survivors include her children, Patricia Ladner (Monty), Linda Kay Turnage, and Paul B Jones; grandchildren, Angel Runnels, Kim Kelly (Ken), Shad Turnage (Linda), Missy Johnson, J D Jones (Jonie), P J Jones, Shane Jones (Allie), Sissy Jones, and Jimmy Joe Jones (Stevie), Tammie Jennings, Donnie Jennings, James Jennings, Bill Jennings, Lisa Diane Jennings, and Phillip Craft; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Mears (John); and host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Shad Turnage II, Phillip Craft, Dalton Strawn, Matt McInnis, Jeff Butler, and Tom Mozingo.
