Minnie Ruth Bryant Delk, 94 was born Friday, October 10, 1930, in Smith County, Mississippi. She passed peacefully into heaven with her family by her side on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She joined her mother, grandmother, and her precious granddaughter, Cyndi, who she saw waiting for her at the gates of Heaven.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 11:00 am at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Bro. Jeff Martin and Bro. Rich Ables will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jim Delk and Harvey Delk; brothers, A. L. Bryant and Homer Bryant; granddaughter, Cyndi Rushing; son-in-law, Danny Russum; daughter-in-law, Terri Delk; grandson-in-law, Robert D. Smith.

Survivors include her son, Bill Delk of Moss Point, MS; daughters, Shelia Dianne Russum of Purvis, MS, Angela Faye Martin (Jeff) of Mize, MS, Denise Smith (Danny) and Debbie Rushing (Randy) of Moss Point, MS; grandchildren, Christine Brown, Russ Russum, Tricia Yawn, Robert Garner, Delk Smith, Sherri Smith, Jessi Marshall, Angie Godfrey and Brooks Delk; 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Russ Russum, Robert Garner, Delk Smith, Brooks Delk, Trey Smith, Cameron Knotts, William Delk, and Carter Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Ainsworth, Will Knotts, Clayton Smith, Trevor Delk, Owen Godfrey, Max Godfrey, Colton Delk, Logan Marshall, Tristan Yawn, Lane Marshall, Corben Godfrey, and Caden Godfrey.

Special music will be performed by Wayne Delk.
