Mike Peacock, 65, of Mendenhall, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, September 24, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM , and on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church in Mendenhall. The funeral service will follow the Sunday visitation at 2:00 PM, with burial to take place in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. David Hanna and Bro. Donald Green will officiate. Mike found great joy in the simple things in life. He loved deer hunting and fishing, especially the time spent outdoors enjoying the peace and beauty of nature. Above all, Mike cherished the love and companionship he shared with his life partner, Melinda. She was an important part of his life, and the memories they made together will remain a treasured part of his story.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Marzine Peacock and Georgia M. Peacock; son, Mitchell Peacock; sister, Diane Peacock; brother, Tommy Peacock; partner, Melinda Spears

Survivors include his children, Michael Peacock (Jessica), Lacey Peacock, Zach Peacock (Sandie), and Scott Peacock (Emiley); grandchildren, Kinley Peacock, Meyers Peacock, Skylar Cole, Kailynn Cole, Mallory Cole, Chloe Cole, Natileigh Cole, Nova Peacock, and Logan Peacock; brothers, Bill Peacock (Wendy) and Larry Peacock; sisters, Jean Hawkins (Ben) and Debbie Blair; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
