Michael Dean Mize
(September 18, 1970 – June 28, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 113 Front Street, Taylorsville, Mississippi, for Michael Dean Mize, 51, of Taylorsville, Mississippi, who passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his residence.  Reverend Eugene Page will officiate the services.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

He wasn't perfect but he was ours. We loved him no matter what.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lovette (Buster) Dean Mize; paternal grandparents, Pete Woodrow and Mildred Mize; and maternal grandparents, Charles and Merlene Ervin.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Lane  Mize;  four children, Tristan Mize, Taylor  Ward, Molly  Mize and Ana Grace Mize; mother, Barbara Ervin Mize;  four grandchildren, Lillie Ward, Zachary  Ward, Scarlett  Ward and Reed  Flynt;  two Brothers, John  Clay  Mize  (Amber) and Charles  Mize;  sister, Melissa  Jackson (Robert); and a host of other family members and friends.
