Obituary

Mary "Savannah" Booth, 78 of Braxton, MS passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 at her residence in Braxton, MS. She was born Monday, May 15, 1944 in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall at 3077 Simpson Hwy 13, Mendenhall, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Cemetery in Braxton, Mississippi. Bro. Andy Gibson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements 601-847-4401.

She resided in D'Lo and owned Mendenhall Cleaners where she enjoyed visiting with friends over morning coffee until her health recently required her to retire. Savannah loved being around children, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Ban Ban. After the death of her beloved husband, Willie Booth, she spent her remaining years working at the cleaners and visiting local auctions with her long-time companion, Mr. Gayle Savage. She was a devoted member of Gum Springs Baptist Church where she served as secretary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Booth;  son, Travis Gibson;  father, Travis  McIntyre; mother, Mary Lou Smith Isberto; sister, Elizabeth Isberto Buffington;  step-father, Frank Isberto; granddaughter, Jennifer  Lee;  nieces, Beth Bardwell Oxner and Tammy  Lass.

Survivors include her son, Bill Lee;  step-sons, Mitchell Gibson, Mike Gibson, Jeff  Gibson, Roger Booth, Robbie Booth and Ronnie Booth;  step-daughters, Sheila Gibson and Renee Booth;  brother, John Isberto;  sisters, Kathy Peace, Frankie Isberto, Donna Isberto and Cindy Abel, and Pat Isberto;  grandsons, Keaton Lee, Kirk Lee, Erik Hammond, Dalton Gibson and Alex Gibson;  great grandchild, Madi Lee.

Pallbearers will be Randy Morrow, Jacob Morrow, Andrew Morrow, Scott Booth, Joshua Morrow, and Shane Brinson.

Honorary pallbearer will be John Thomas Morrow and Trevor Hillhouse
