Obituary

Mark John Billiot
(December 14, 1963 – September 18, 2022)

Mark John Billiot, 58, of Magee, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, September 18,
2022, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He was born Saturday,
December 14, 1963, in Galliano, Louisiana.

A private family memorial service will be held at Pinehurst Pentecostal Church 2111 40th Street Orange, Texas at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday October 1st 2022. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements (601-849-5031).

Mark was a fun loving, live in the moment, family man. He had an enormous heart
and generous spirit, which meant he rarely met a stranger. Furthermore, if you were in
need, no distance was too far, nor obstacle too high to keep him away.

He was a proud Army veteran and well-established welder of 30 years.

His love for football was well known, and he had a strictly exclusive relationship
with his "boys": the Dallas Cowboys. Beyond football, his favorite pastimes were visiting friends and family, playing
games, and spoiling his grandbabies.

He will forever be remembered as the man whose presence could fill a room with
laughter and friendship. "It's been quite a party, ain't it, Woodrow?"
We love you, Mark.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Tilden Billiot; and mother, Linda Pitre
King.

Survivors include his wife of 7 years, Melanie Billiot; sons, Derek Billiot and
Dustin Billiot (Madison); step-father, Charles King; step-son, Ty Buckley (Heather);
step-daughter, Dawna McMahon (Cody); grandchildren, Kenadee Billiot, Kaylee Jenkins,
Brooke and Braylin Martin, and Grayce, Faythe, Logan, and Gunner Buckley; and two
brothers, Jackie Bergeron (Holly) and Tilden Billiot, Jr..
