Mack Authur Garner's Obituary
Mack Authur Garner, 65 of Mize, passed from this life Wednesday, April 3, 2012 at Magee General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday, April 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Mize. Burial will be in Mize City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Mims Mitchell/ Colonial Chapel Magee Thursday, April 5, 2012.
Mack was a member of First Baptist Church Mize. He enjoyed farming, operating heavy equipment and driving a truck. Mack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed being with his family.
Mr. Garner is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jeannette K. Garner, Mize; two children, Shay Blackwell (Barry), Mize and John Wesley Garner (Angela), Mize; grandchildren, Braden and Rush Blackwell and John Scott and Brett David Garner; sisters, Doris Holder, Dimple Nicholson, Donis Simmons and Marilyn Nolan and brother, Gerald Garner.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David A. & Lou Ella Johnson Garner and one brother, Jimmy Garner.
Pallbearers are Keith Garner, Chris Garner, David Garner, Rance Ulmer, Mark Simmons and Chuck Nicholson.
