Linda Stevens Simmons went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Linda was born in Puckett MS in 1945. She grew up with 10 siblings in the County Line Community and graduated from Puckett High School in 1963. She married Charlie Simmons and had a beautiful daughter, Kathy. She was a happy wife and mother as well as an avid gardener. She was an active member of Concord Baptist Church in Pelahatchie MS.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Simmons; her parents Grady and Rufie Stevens; her brothers Thomas Stevens, Rufus Stevens, Billy Stevens, and Milford Stevens.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Simmons; her brothers Harold Stevens, Brad Stevens, Philip Stevens, and Danny Stevens; her sister, Pat Burnham; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family

Pallbearers are Travis Stevens, Danny Stevens, Tony Long, Dale Purvis, Kevin Gordin, and James Bailey

A Visitation for Linda will be held at Concord Baptist Church, Pelahatchie MS, Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 10:00 am until the Funeral service at 11:00 am with the burial to follow. Bro. Tim Robinson and Bro. Mickey Ferguson will officiate. Colonial Chapel of Mendenhall is in charge of the arrangements.
