Lennie Mae Warren Brewer, 93 of Magee, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Covington County Hospital in Collins, Mississippi. She was born on Thursday, March 6, 1930, in Simpson County, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Dry Creek Baptist Church, 1246 Dry Creek Road, Magee, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Dry Creek Baptist Church. The burial will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi. Bro. Joe Metts will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mrs. Lennie was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church in Magee, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She enjoyed working in her garden, listening to her gospel music, walking and seating on her porch, but most of all spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J D Brewer; son, Jerry Brewer; parents, John Willie and Nola Viola Ware Warren; daughter, Carolyn Brewer Kennedy; grandson, Ryan Chance Brewer; brothers, Darrell Warren and Farrell Warren; sisters, Eva Warren Garner, Lois Warren Bratcher, Johnny Warren Fortenberry, Louise Warren Craft, and Erelee Warren; son-in-law, Kent Kennedy; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Kay Brewer.
Survivors include her three sons, Jimmy Brewer of Magee, MS, Albert Brewer (Linda) of Louin, MS, and Billy Brewer (Stephanie) of Taylorsville, MS; three daughters, Brenda Brewer Hall (Jimmy) of D'Lo, MS, Barbara Brewer Bryant (Keith) of Raleigh, MS, and Gloria Brewer Wells of Magee, MS; sixteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; eighteen great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Garrell Warren of Magee, MS; two sisters, Evelyn Warren Searcy of Magee, MS, and Margie Warren Shavers of Florence, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be William Bryant, Joe Brewer, Waylon Kennedy, Bo Sullivan, Josh Sullivan, and Trey Smith.
