Lajuana Ferrell, 70 of Brandon, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Brandon Community Care Center in Brandon.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031.

Mrs. Ferrell was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed vanilla milkshakes and Chinese food. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ferrell; son, Ray Ferrell; daughter, Michelle Roberts; mother, Ollie Opal Ferrell.

She is survived by her son, Brian Ferrell (Jessica); grandchildren, Preston Ferrell, Brandon Ferrell, Kenny Roberts, and Megan Ferrell; brothers, Johnny Whatley and Milton Whatley.
