Kenneth King Shows, 66 of Mendenhall, Mississippi passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born on November 1, 1959, in Mendenhall, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00 am at Everett Cemetery in White Oak. Minsters Kevin Halle and Abby Ades will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. 601-847-4401.

Mr. Shows, a graduate of Southern Miss was passionate about rooting for the Golden Eagles and had a deep love for Blues music. He valued faith and family, enjoyed cooking, and took pleasure in serving others. Above all, he cherished his two grandbabies. Mr. Shows attended Galilee Baptist Church in Mendenhall and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his son Landon Shows, grandchildren, Stetson Shows and Charlee Rose Shows; mother, Rose Lott; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by father, Robert Shows; stepfather, Charles Lott; infant son, Joshua Taylor Shows; maternal grandparents, WC and Autrey King; paternal grandparents, Vernon and Winnie Shows.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Barnard, Wayne Folkes, Jay Lofton, Lewis Powell, W.C. King, and David Hyman.
