Katherine Sullivan Garner

(June 22, 1944 – November 5, 2021)

Katherine Sullivan Garner, 77, of Mize, Mississippi, passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Friday, November 5, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Thursday, June 22, 1944, in Magee, Mississippi.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at her home on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. (601) 849-5031

Mrs. Garner was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.  She enjoyed working in her garden, cooking, helping people, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.P. Sullivan and Magdalene Dickerson Sullivan; and numerous siblings.

Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-eight years Ted Garner of Mize; three daughters, Debbie Garner Brogan and husband, Sidney, of Louisiana, Diane Garner Harris and husband, Lou, of Alabama, and Donna Garner Latiolais and husband, Travis, of Alabama; six grandchildren, Caitlyn Latiolais and Noah Latiolais both of Alabama, Andrew and Morgan Harris both of Alabama, Rebecca Lambert and husband, Terry, of Louisiana, and Laura Glascock and husband, Derek, of Louisiana; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Dale Sullivan and wife, Rhonda, of Mize; and one sister, Peggy Hodge of Jackson; and a host of other family members and friends.
