Julie Marie Finnegan passed away quietly at her home in Laurel, MS on October 3, 2026. Born on October 19, 1967 to Patricia Norris Finnegan and William Finnegan, she spent her later years within the comfort and peace of home, where she found much joy in the simpler way of life.

She spent many years working at Sunbeam Oster and left to continue her education and earned her degree in Human Resources to help people to achieve their goals as well. She had an amazing affinity and love for animals and rescued and aided many throughout the years.

Julie shared many adventures and joy through the years with close friends and family, and her light will be missed by many. She is survived by her brother William Finnegan and sister Anna Finnegan and partner Andrew and son Brenden.

A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday October 7, 2026 at 2:30 pm in Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS. Colonial Chapel of Taylorsville is in charge of the arrangements.
