Obituary

Judy Powell, 70 of Raleigh, MS passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born Tuesday, October 11,1955 in Raleigh, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until service time at Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh, MS. Burial will follow in Crossroad Holiness Church Cemetery in Raleigh, MS. Bro. Isaac Powell, Bro. Craig Bailey, and Bro. Clayborn Huff will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

Judy was a beloved daughter and sister. She was a member of Crossroads Holiness Church in Raleigh. She loved reading, cross-stitching, crocheting, and spending time riding horses.

She was preceded in death by her father, Winferd Ray Powell; mother, Pauline Blair Powell; sister, Kathy Lavern Powell.

Survivors include her brothers, Kenneth  Powell , Sr. (Jeanette) and Joseph  Earnest  Powell  (Debra );  sisters, Helen  Powell  Bailey  (Dabney ) and Kathryn  Powell  Buffington: and a host of nieces and nephews whom she affectionately referred to as her children.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Powell, Kenny Powell, JR Buffington, Richard Swearengin, Randy Bailey, and Scott Bailey.
