Obituary

Joseph Arthur Page II was born April 23, 1932 in Pelahatchie MS, the son of Joseph Arthur Page Sr and Cora Johnson Page. He received his education in Mississippi and accepted Christ at an early age.
Joseph Arthur Page II was an active member of the Hebrew Israelites Congregation of Jackson MS for more than 20 years. He was married to the late Earnestine Johnson Page. He served in the Army of the United States from June, 1953 until May, 1955. Joseph Arthur Page II worked for Ford Motor Company as a Mechanic for many years. After retiring from Ford Motor Company, he became a member of the Chosen Few MotorCycle Club. In the summer of 1971, he became an original member of the Persuaders MotorCycle Club. Mr. Page enjoyed fishing, taking long road trips, and riding his motorcycle. He continued to ride his motorcycle until his health began to fail.
Joseph Arthur Page II passed away peacefully on Monday, November 1, 2022 at the Merit Health River Oaks Hospital in Flowood MS. He leaves to cherish loving and fond memories children; Patricia (Ronald) Woods, Eretta Page, Gwen Renee Rucker, Wanda (Willie) Darby, Vivian (Antwan) Allen, Ulato Page, and Latishia Page; brothers, Charlie and James Page; grandchildren, Jamala, Aisha, and Ahmad Woods, Tyressa (Patrick) Johnson, Lanita (Conrado) Tucker, Christopher, Lataysha, Jawaan, and Michael Page, Joseph, Jazzlyn, and Jayden Page, Kai and Asa Allen, bonus grandchildren, Trenton Pack and Destiny McKnight; great grandchildren, Dominiue Greer, Jimmy, Jaleel, Jimea, and Jamal Penton, Patricia, Ryan, Makayla, and Randall Jackson, Isabel Woods; a special companion, Barbara Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. We will miss dad dearly, especially his unending words of wisdom and his infectious laughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Arthur Page Sr. and Cora Page; wife Earnestine; brothers; Ernest Page, Artis, Eddie, Freddie, Reggie, and Tommie Lewis; and sister, Desiree Page.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 302 8th Ave SW, Magee, MS 39111, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
