Johnny Lee Berry, 80, of Mendenhall, MS went to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 21, 2026. He was born on May 14, 1946.

Johnny was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. He also enjoyed old cars, whether that was seeing them, talking about them, or even having a couple himself.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Nell Berry; daughter, Susan Berry; parents, Virgil Berry, W.C. and Maggie Mae Thames; sister, Melissa O'nita Russum.

Survivors include his son, Jason Berry; three grandchildren, Lee Berry, Jakob Berry and Eli Berry; nephews, Bob Shows (Becky), Steve Womack (DeAnna), Wayne Womack (Wendy), Lane Shows, Ryan May, Doug May, Doug Phillips, Tim Gray, Lavon Gray, Duran Gray, and William Hall; nieces, Martha Phillips, Sharon Keys, Stacey Womack, and Paige Jones.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday October 23, 2026, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 24, 2026, also at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Burial will follow in Weathersby Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Maurice Bryant and Lavon Gray will officiate. Colonial Chapel of Mendenhall is in charge of the arrangements.
