Joel Delin Ferguson, 74 of Magee Mississippi went to his heavenly home October 12, 2026 in Collins Mississippi surrounded by loved ones. Delin was born in Philadelphia Mississippi March 5, 1952.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Margie Thompson Ferguson and Pearl Ferguson; his brothers S.A. Ferguson, Garland Ferguson, Glen Ferguson, James Ferguson, Anthony Ferguson, Richard Ferguson, Johnny Ferguson, Dale Ferguson, and Danny Ferguson; sisters, Janet Huddleston and Kathy Cole.
He is survived by his wife Gail Ferguson; son and daughter in law Jamie and Allisha Ferguson; daughter and son in law; Lori and Jonathan Phillips; granddaughters Annalyce Ferguson, Zoe Phillips, Katelyn Ferguson, Emma Phillips, Eve Phillips; grandsons Jacob Ferguson, Elijah Phillips, Noah Ferguson; brother Terry Ferguson (Barbara) and a host of nieces and nephews.
Delin Ferguson was a Godly man of quiet strength and faith who devoted his life to serving his family, church, and community. He was the perfect picture of faithfulness and the kind of man who would not hesitate to give you the shirt off his back or the food off his plate, unless that plate held black walnut ice cream. He worked at Magee tire for many years then Magee co-op then to eventually own and operate his own tire shop. There wasn’t a day that went by that he didn’t try to make someone laugh. He has made it home and is no doubt cruising those streets of gold in a bright red antique vehicle. He loved the Lord Jesus and was the strongest example of a good and faithful servant.
A visitation will be held at New Life Fellowship Church of Magee from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday October 14, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday October 15, 2026, also at New Life Fellowship Church. Burial will follow at New Life Fellowship Church Cemetery.
