Jessica Gail Wood, 15, of Mize, MS, passed away, Sunday, July 3, 2011 at Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS.
Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm on Tuesday, July 05, 2011 at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Magee.

Jessica was born December 29, 1995 in Hattiesburg, MS. She was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries where she participated in the youth group and drama team led by her brother, Josh and Kristin. Jessica loved sports, Cheerleading, Basketball and especially softball. Jessica was on the 2011 Allstar team and had previously been named All District. She has also won several different adwards in softball and cheerleading. She attended elementery school at Mize Attendence Center. She then attended Simpson Academy and was enrolled at Mize for the current year.

Jessica is survived by her parents, David T and Pamela Smith Wood; brothers, Josh (Kristin) Wood, Justin Wood, and Jacob Wood; grandparents, Lonnie and Cindy Wood and Jessie and Evelyn Smith; great-grandmother, Billie Jean Hylander; aunts and uncles, Devin, Dustin, Ashton, Lexie Wood, Mechelle (Ronnie) Sullivan, Mandy (Jason) Murrah, Danny (Sherry) Smith, and Gary (Rosa) Smith; special friend, Ryan Meadows; numerous cousins and other family.
