Jerry Lynn Steele, 73 of Magee, MS passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Magee General Hospital. He was born Wednesday, October 31, 1951 in McComb, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Magee City Cemetery. Bro. James Fortenberry will officiate. Lynn loved to hunt and fish. He also cherished his grandkids, Hunter and Brodie. He will greatly be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Steele; paternal grandparents, Emmitt and Dora Steele; maternal grandparents, Alton and Vera Lee Wilkinson.

Survivors include his son, Shane Steele (Ashley); mother, Nadine Steele; grandchildren, Hunter Steele and Brodie Steele; brothers, Terry Bruce Steele (Claudia), Michael Ames Steele (Marsha) and Joseph Lane Steele; sister, Kathy Nadine Bailey  (Mike); and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Steele, Brodie Steele, Bryan Steele, Bradley Steele, Brex Bailey, Wyatt Rost and Mike Bailey.
