Jeremy Shad Clark

Jeremy Clark was born on June 30, 1982. He passed away, July 22, 2026.

Jeremy and his family moved from Wayne County to Taylorsville in Smith County in the year of 1998. He met the love of his life, Janie Skinner, while he was in high school. They married on May 30, 2009 after a very long courtship. He and Janie lived in Oak Grove along with their three dogs, near Hattiesburg, MS.

Jeremy loved his family very much. He was a tenderhearted man that loved deeply. He was a wonderful husband, who called Janie affectionately as, “Doll.” They made a home that made all of their parents proud. Jeremy was a wonderful son who was willing to make personal sacrifices to help, when needed.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Janie Skinner Clark: his parents, Frankie & Lisa Clark; sister, Carrie Webb (Mark); mother and father-in-laws, Philip & Sharon Skinner; brother-in-law, Jason Skinner (Sara) He was also survived by nieces & nephews, Izzy Webb, Annabeth Webb, Jeremy Skinner, Mason Skinner, Braxton Skinner, Brooks Skinner, Isabella Skinner, Savannah Skinner, and a host of cousins.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Taylorsville. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery. Dr. Keith Thompson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564.Pallbearers will be Jason Skinner, Jeremy Skinner, Mason Skinner, Mark Webb, Greg Clark, and John Dale Clark.
