Jeraldine Williams Lewis, 79 of Florence, MS passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born Thursday, October 22, 1942, in Jackson, Mississippi.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Star Baptist Church in Star, Mississippi. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031
Mrs. Lewis was a member of Star Baptist Church in Star, MS. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was very faithful in doing her morning devotions. She enjoyed working in yard and garden, serving people in any way she could, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and attending any of their school and sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lewis; father, Jack Williams; mother, Margaret McKenzie Williams; and brothers, Larry Williams and Jackie Williams.
Survivors include her two loving sons, Phil Lewis (Pennye) of Florence, MS and Mark Lewis of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Nikki Lewis Gerald (Sean) of Morton, MS, Hunter Lewis (Lindsey) of Flowood, MS, Dylan Lewis (Morgan) of Florence, MS, and Amber Lewis of Phoenix, AZ; great-grandchildren, Madden Gerald of Morton, MS, Massey Keyt Gerald of Morton, MS, Merritt Gerald of Morton, MS, and Matleigh Lewis of Flowood, MS; sisters, Peggy Williams Evans of Florence, MS, Billie Williams Byrd of Florence, MS, Faye Williams Ables (Paul) of Florence, MS, Kaye Williams Hardwick (Wiley) of Florence, MS, Janice Williams Dear (Jimmy) of Braxton, MS, and Janet Williams Craft (George Jr.) of Magee, MS; and a host of other family members and friends.
