Jean Billings Taylor, 76, passed away peacefully at home on March 25. She was born April 13, 1949, in Big Creek, Mississippi and spent much of her life surrounded by family, friends, and the community she loved.

Jean enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved to dance, enjoyed music and good company, and at one time spent many hours quilting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and the memories they made together.

She is survived by her son Sandy "Buzz" Mowdy (Sandara)and her children she shared with her late husband, Claude W. Billings: Rachelle Boone (Jim), Raeann Varner (Gary), and Johns Billings (Margaret); twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery on March 27 at 10am.
