James Derek Dukes, 37 of Magee, MS passed away Friday, August 5, 2022 in Magee, MS. He was born Sunday, April 7, 1985 in Mississippi.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Sylvarena Jesus Name House of Prayer in Sylvarena, MS. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Michael Dukes.

Survivors include his wife, Vandi McMurry  of Winnsboro Louisiana;  daughter, Maria  Dukes  Pennington (Dawson) of Mize , MS;  step-son, Jayden  McMurry  of Winnsboro Louisiana;  step-daughter, Zoee  McMurry  of  Winnsboro Louisiana;  mother, Lisa  Dukes of Magee;  grandchild, Zeppelin  Ray  Pennington;  brother, Patrick  Dukes  of Magee;  sister, Michaela  Dukes  of Magee.
