James Terrell Blakeney

James Terrell Blakeney, 85, passed away on July 12, 2025 at Magee
General Hospital. He was born on July 5, 1940.

He is survived by his sister, Shirley Mae Shirley, and numerous nieces,
nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, William Albert Blakeney
and Esther James Blakeney; his brothers, Johnny Evaugn Blakeney,
Willard Coppel Blakeney, Albert McWaine Blakeney, Truman Harold
Blakeney; and his sisters, Mittie Earlene Walters, and Billie Faye Brocato.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in
Taylorsville, MS at 9 a.m. on July 15, 2025. Arrangements are entrusted
to Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee
