Hershel Donavan Sullivan
(August 22, 1956 - October 31, 2022)

Hershel Donavan Sullivan, 66 of Pelahatchie, MS passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born Wednesday, August 22, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi.

A graveside funeral service will be at Zion Hill Cemetery in Mize, MS. on Wednesday November 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.  Brother David Chandler will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was a loving father and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was always willing to help others in need. His mom had a very special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hershel Sullivan; sisters, Carolyn Sullivan and Judith Dunn Ragsdale.

Survivors include his son, Hershel D Sullivan, Jr (Martha); daughters, Carolyn Sullivan Thornton (Clint), Elizabeth Sullivan Archibald and Amanda Sullivan Spencer; mother, Dorothy Hill Hames; brother, James Sullivan (Ruth Ann); sisters, Frances Dunn Hodges, and Teresa Sullivan Robinson (Johnny); step-father, Jeffie Hames; grandsons, Michael Harvey, Shawn Spencer and Leland Spencer; granddaughters, Michelle Harvey Boyles, Jennifer Harvey, Alecia Harvey Basta, Tessa Wilson and Bekkah Sullivan.

Pallbearers will be Joe Hopkins, Micheal Greene, Michael Harvey, Shawn Spencer, Leland Spencer, and Kenneth Ables.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Ables and Kenneth Ables Sr.
