Helen Ldean Ainsworth Quarles
(October 11, 1938 – January 24, 2023)

Helen Ldean Quarles, 84 of Taylorsville, Mississippi passed away from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at her residence in Taylorsville. She was born Tuesday, October 11, 1938, in Bay Springs, Mississippi.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Mineral Springs Baptist Church on SCR 19 N. in Taylorsville, Mississippi. Bro. Nathan Brown will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Taylorsville is in charge of arrangements. 601-785-6564

Ms. Helen was a member at Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Taylorsville, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  She enjoyed going to garage sales, shopping, working in her yard, and most of all spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Cecil Quarles; father, Deavours Ainsworth; mother, Doris Holifield Ainsworth; brothers, Billy Ray Ainsworth and Dale Ainsworth.

Survivors include her one son, Mickey Quarles (Donna) of Bay Springs, MS; two daughters, Kelly Quarles Yawn (Jimmy Dan) of Taylorsville, MS and Linda Quarles Jones (Mark) of Taylorsville, MS; five grandchildren, Hailey Quarles Mayo of Bay Springs, MS, Dustin McKenzie of AR, Kim Jones Parker (Kevin) of Hattiesburg, MS, Kayla Jones of Taylorsville, MS and Lindsey Jones of Lumberton, MS; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Rex Ainsworth (Ethelene) of Ellisville, MS; one sister, Sylvia Knight (Greg) of Taylorsville, MS;  and a host of other family members and friends.
