George Clifton McWilliams, 83 of Mendenhall, MS passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Magee General Hospital in Magee, MS. He was born Friday, February 27, 1942 in Simpson County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 8:30 am until the service at 11:30 am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Burial will follow in Cornith Baptist Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Bro. Andy Gipson and Bro. Stacey Reeves will officiate. George was a carpenter for 47 years. He loved being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow McWilliams; mother, Willie Maddox McWilliams; brother, Paul McWilliams; sister, Patricia Walker; and grandson, Hunter McWilliams.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol Bynum McWilliams; son, Gregg McWilliams (Angie); daughter, Melissa Dollar (Todd); brother, Dwight McWilliams (Debbie);  grandson, Brady McWilliams; He is further survived by many relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Gainey, Jeff Butler, Anthony Garner, Terry McWilliams, Ron Burns, and Frank Bynum.
