Mr. Hayes was a loving and kind husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend, and neighbor. George loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and farming. He joined the Army National Guard at age 21 and got an honorable discharge after six years of service. He was truck driver in 785th Transco. He also worked for Shell Oil Company. The remainder of his career he was a carpenter and contractor. He was always smiling and loved to make people laugh but most of all he loved the Lord.
1 Cor 13 Love is always patient, kind, never jealous, boastful, or conceited, never rude or selfish. Love doesn't take offense, never resentful and takes no pleasure in sin, but delights in the truth, Charity (love) never fails. When I was a child I spake as a child. I understood as a child, I thought as a child but when I became a man, I put away childish things. The greatest of faith, hope, and charity is charity (love). 1 John 4:7-8 God is love (Charity). 1 Thes 4:8 He that dispiseth, dispiseith not man but God, who hath given us his Holy Spirit.
