Emma Lou Higgins, 42 of Magee, Mississippi passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at her home in Magee, Mississippi. She was born Tuesday, November 18, 1980 in Hinds County, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, Mississippi.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

She was preceded in death by her parents, David B and Sadie Higgins; brother, Billy Higgins; Paternal grandparents Barney and Emma Higgins Maternal grandparents, Charles Reeves and Ethel Reeves.

Survivors include her sister, Nancy Higgins of Magee; brothers, Alex D Higgins and Kevin Higgins both of Magee; nephew, David Michael Temple; nieces, Desserae Vaughn and Billie Danielle Temple; and a host of cousins, and other family members.
