Doyle Ware Maddox, 78 of Magee, MS went from his earthly to his heavenly home on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Hattiesburg Health & Rehab Center in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born Friday, January 4, 1946 in Simpson County, MS.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 9:00am until 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 302 Eighth Ave SW, Magee, MS. Funeral services will begin at 11:00am at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Magee, MS. Kevin McWilliams and Bro. Jacob McKenzie will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee is in charge of arrangements. 601-849-5031

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Maddox; mother, Lois Maddox; sisters, Martha Little, Rita Weathersby, and Dora Jane Maddox.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Beverly Maddox; sons, Jason Grayson (Kellie) and Josh Maddox (Jessica); daughters, Janie Smith (Alex) and Shanell Ross (Wiley); 7 grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jason Grayson, Josh Maddox, Caleb Ross, Dylan Grayson, Branson Maddox, and Kevin Barnes.
