Donald Mark "Donny" MacKercher
(December 1, 1989 – October 23, 2021)

Donald Mark "Donny" MacKercher, 31, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on October 23, 2021. Donny was born on December 1, 1989, to Cynthia and Rob MacKercher, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Cameron MacKercher Sr., John William and Semmie Hazel McComas and uncle, William Sanders McComas.

Donny is survived by his parents, Rob Roy MacKercher, Sr. and Cynthia Gretchen MacKercher; grandmother, Leah Marie MacKercher; sister, Kristin Blakeney and husband William Blakeney, Jr.; brother, Rob MacKercher, Jr. and wife Courtney MacKercher; nephews and niece, William Blakeney, III, Lucille Blakeney and Rob MacKercher, III; and many much-loved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Donny graduated from the University of Mississippi and was a member of Beta Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. After graduation, he returned to his hometown of Charlotte, NC to work in the IT field. He enjoyed working with the Ole Miss Alumni Association and many other organizations.

Donny's passions growing up were basketball, Lacrosse, his friends and family. He formed many deep childhood friendships and had a great love for animals, especially his dog, Winslow.

A private burial service will take place at New Hope Baptist Church in Mt. Olive, Mississippi.

Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, Mississippi is in charge of arrangements.
